I've been doing much more thinking than creating in the past year or so, mainly pondering on my personal goals in my life and my design career. I've had such an emptyness in me that blocks my inspirations and ideas coming to reality and I've been really frustrated with myself because of that.

I am uncertain which direction I want to take next, and for that I haven't created anything new for a long time.

It just seems to me everything I do turns out nothing like I had planned in my mind, which isn't a rare problem, I know, but it still bothered me for almost a year, maybe a half.

But not four days ago, I discussed about this with a colleague of my, and he managed to get some inspiration and selfrespect in me again, for which I am very thankful. I realized I don't necessarily have to know what directions, art- and design-wise, I want to take, not now, maybe never. Just create stuff! Whether it's crap or not, you're still making progress and developing. Yup!

On other news:

I transferred my military regiment just before Christmas eve
and I'm now spending my weeks in Helsinki. In stead of Säkylä Engineer Battalion and runnign through woods, I sit in front of a computer, lol, and maintain the official website of the Finnish Defence Forces, [link]. You could say my military service is over and I'm now just working full day for them.
